  2. Aim 1. • Enhancing student achievements in pre-school, general education and vocational training through modernisation of the curriculum and in-service training of education staff.

  3. Aim 2. • Improving participation of adults in lifelong learning through development of competencies of adult education staff.

  4. Aim 1. Specific objectives • The development of such competences as democratic school governance, human rights, active citizenship

  5. Aim 2. Specific objectives • Developing of general competencies and motivation of adults through increasing the flexibility of learning arrangements and effective support to adult education centres;

  6. Target groups • Officials from municipal administrations • Management staff of pre-school, general education and vocational training schools; • Teachers active in associations • Management and teaching staff of adult education centres; • Employees of municipal education centres; • Non-formal education providers; • Senior academics, who conduct research in relevant areas; • Advanced students in postgraduate and doctoral programmes studying education content, process and policy.

  7. Partners • Education Development Centre, Lithuania • Vox – Norwegian Agency for Lifelong Learning and • The European Wergeland Centre;

  8. Method of Implementation • Study groups of up to 10 people that will spend two weeks in EEA or EU country; • Two 2-year cycles. 25 study groups. • 1,420,000 EURO
