ENV.2010.2.1.4-4 DUSEF • The DUSEF-Profile • Partnership • 16 partners in 11 countries (so far), most of which are facilities in land use research rather than pure biology • Covering: zoology, microbiology, resource economics and policy • Spain to Romania, UK to Greece • 2 to 3 additional partners are welcome (some invitations are still open) • Skills of the coordinating team (Göttingen/Rennes) • Multidisciplinary research agency in land use, expertise in Monitoring programs, AES and soil biology • Terrestrial ecosystem research; Soil organisms as drivers of ecosystem functioning Roots of DUSEF in former activities • ENVASSO • Bio-Bio • BioDiverSoil (Biodiversa’s Pan European call, proposal) • Bioplex • KLIFF (Lower Saxony)
