Create Stunning Raspberry Copper Soap with Suds N Stuff Soap making is a delightful craft that lets you blend creativity with functionality, and at Suds N Stuff, we have everything you need to create gorgeous, luxurious soaps right at home. Today, we're going to walk you through making a beautiful raspberry copper soap using our Silicon Loaf Mould, Raspberry Mould, Basic Clear Melt & Pour Soap Base, and Radiant Copper Mica. Whether you’re a seasoned soap maker or just starting out, this project is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of elegance to their collection. Materials You'll Need Silicon Loaf Mould: A versatile mould perfect for creating loaf-style soaps that can be sliced into individual bars. Raspberry Mould: A detailed mould that allows you to create realistic raspberry soap embeds, perfect for adding texture and visual interest.
Basic Clear Melt & Pour Soap Base: An easy-to-use, transparent soap base that melts quickly and sets to a smooth, glossy finish. Radiant Copper Mica: A stunning mica powder that adds a rich, shimmering copper hue to your soaps. Step-by-Step Guide 1. Prepare Your Work Area: Before you begin, ensure your workspace is clean and well-organized. Gather all your materials and tools, including a microwave-safe container, stirring sticks, a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol, and your chosen fragrance or essential oils. 2. Melt the Soap Base: Cut your Basic Clear Melt & Pour Soap Base into small, even cubes. This helps the soap melt more evenly. Place the cubes into your microwave-safe container and heat in short intervals, stirring between each to avoid overheating. The goal is to fully melt the soap base without boiling it. 3. Add Radiant Copper Mica: Once your soap base is fully melted, it's time to add the Radiant Copper Mica. Start with a small amount and gradually add more until you achieve your desired depth of color. Stir thoroughly to ensure the mica is evenly distributed throughout the soap base, creating a uniform, shimmering copper hue.
4. Pour and Mold: Now comes the fun part! Pour a portion of the copper-colored soap base into the Raspberry Mould to create your raspberry embeds. Allow them to set for a few minutes until firm. Then, gently unmold the raspberries and set them aside. Next, pour the remaining soap base into the Silicon Loaf Mould. Once the soap starts to thicken slightly but is still warm, place the raspberry embeds on top or within the loaf, depending on your design preference. Spray the top with rubbing alcohol to eliminate bubbles and help the layers adhere. 5. Let It Set: Allow your soap to set completely, which usually takes a few hours. Once it's firm to the touch, carefully remove it from the mould. If you used the loaf mould, slice it into individual bars. 6. Enjoy Your Handmade Soap: Your Raspberry Copper Soap is now ready to use! The combination of the Radiant Copper Mica and the detailed raspberry embeds creates a soap that's as beautiful as it is functional.
