  1. Who Are British Expats? British people or their descendants who have migrated from the UK are known as “British Diaspora or British expats.” In terms of expatriates, the UK has the highest number of expatriates residing outside their native countries. Generally, these expatriates live in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, and United States. As per the UK visa consultancy company, about 4000 citizens per week are willing to apply for a visa and leave the country. A majority of the British ex-pats are millennials and professionals who are willing to work in Canada, South Africa, and Australia. The major reasons for leaving the United Kingdom are increased tax rates, high house prices, an increase in crime rate, high cost of living, and high rents. It is not just the British; French ex-pats are livingacross the world. However, it has been that many Britishers move to France because it allows them to live a life that is enriched with entertainment and culture. In terms of land area, France has the largest area of the other countries in Western Europe. Besides, it has twenty-two different administrative regions. Paris, the capital of France, is one of the largest cities in Europe. France is one of the most renowned cultural centers in the world. Consequently, it fosters important cultural activities in aspects like cuisine, history, education, and arts. Most of the ex-pats are willing to relocate there due to lesser crime rates. Also, many ex-pats believe that living in France will allow their children to enjoy more freedom, while the cost of living there is significantly lower than in their home town. Apart from this, the education system of France is considered one of the best in the world. As a British expat in France, you need to consider the following points to choose the right living place: France isn’t populated densely as its population consists of only 61.5 million citizens. The sole and commonly used official language within France is French. The climatic conditions in France are as follows: Western France (oceanic): cool summers, large rainfall, along cool winters.
