  2. Dear Native Americans, (1539) My name is Chaska and I am one of the few natives that have survived this torture. The conquistadors will hunt you and keep you as a slaves. At first they’ll seem occasionally nice .But the they’ll turn on you. Like they turned on me. First I was skeptical about them arriving to our land. But then I just knew what was coming. I am warning you now to be aware and prepared of what is yet to come. And also to know I love my natives very much. Sincerly, Chaska

  3. Dear diary, (1630) It’s Ben a few weeks since the Spanish Missionaries have been in our village. I have been tortured since they came here. I was whopped by one of the Spanish solders . I was also forced to be a Christian. I was at the church when I saw my brothers point the sharp, think arrows at the priest. But that didn’t work. They still forced my sisters to join there religion.   5. Dear Diary, I had witness the mascara that happened in 1622. I was very confused of this event that had accord, Because the Europeans were the ones that were being attacked. The Indians wanted revenge. Because of the bad harmful treatment that the Europeans had did to them. I decided to be cooperating and communicating with the Indians. I began studying them.
