  • Pilot to demonstrate value and get clinician support (Nov 2009-Jan 2010)

  • Toolkit: signage, tip cards, hand-outs, labels

  • Troubleshooting support is provided for these devices by the HELP Desk support team

At UHN, the IPOP will look like this:

The IPOP has signage with instructions for access phone interpretation, and labels marking important feature buttons.

The IPOP should be recharging when not in use.

The power port is located on the left side of the console.

At UHN, the Panasonic Dual Handset Cordless Phone will look like this (models may be grey or white):

Each handset is labelled with instructions for OPI access details and for calling for technical support.

The handsets should be returned to the bases to recharge when not in use.

At UHN, some hospital phones have been equipped with a splitter plugged into the handset port in order to accommodate two handsets:

The red handset may not always be kept plugged into the splitter.

The splitter plugs into the handset port, the original handset then plugs into the splitter.

The splitter with both handsets plugged into the splitter.
