  3. Try it! Get into your groups. Discuss how particles move in a solid, liquid, and a gas. When I say each state of matter, you show me how the particles move!

  5. Physical properties are things like: Color texture size smell shape weight temperaturehardness state: solid, liquid, gas

  6. Describe the physical properties of student computer in the room.

  7. Test your knowledge! Game on!!

  8. Matter can change! It can change by: Heat cutting evaporatingDissolving Freezing Bending MeltingCondensing

  9. When matter changes physically, it is called a physical change. Theappearance changes, but the substance stays the same! Try this solid.

  13. Using what you have learned, can water change physically?

  14. Yes! Take a look at the water cycle!

  15. Assignment In your Science Notebook, draw the water cycle. Explain all of the physical changes that water undergoes during the water cycle.
