Relationship with Primary Schools • “The Day of Open Door“ • Regular meetings with the headmasters of schools • Recruitment of pupils for High Schools with technical specialization • Rewarding of schools for admission of pupils in metallurgical courses • Project “Talent of the Region“ • Thematic competitions • Sponsorship, patronage

Relationship with High Schools • Complex education of apprentices and pupils at High Schools • Regular meetings with the preceptors of schools • Financial support of pupils in metallurgical courses - teaching aids allowance - school activities allowance - transport allowance • Project “Talent of the Region“

Relationship with Universities SYMBIÓZA – two days job fair in Ostrava since 2002 • initiatied by Technical University of Ostrava • supported by County Governance, City of Ostrava, Job Office • more than 100 companies – employers • more than 5,000 participants – students and graduates • organized by the student agency “INFOCENTRUM“

Relationship with Universities SYMBIÓZA – job fair in Ostrava since 2002 • Students Conference - Experience of employers, cooperation companies - universities, professional consultancy for students Strengths: • effort for long-life learning • flexibility towards employers • computer literacy Weaknesses: • presentation and communication skills • professsional experience • human resources practise • foreign languages knowledge
