  1. Need to Know About Tribo-electrostatic Mineral Separator ST Equipment & Technology manufactures a Tribo-electrostatic Mineral Separator that provides a high rate, continuous and completely dry method to beneficiate minerals and metals across a broad range of particle sizes. The STET separator provides an alternative to wet processing methods and drastically reduces or eliminates the need for water in minerals processing.

  2. Calcium carbonate: The STET separator has been successfully for the removal of quartz and other acid insoluble contaminants from finely ground calcium carbonate used as a filler or whitening agent.

  3. Limestone– Our separator has been proven in removing silicates and other contaminants from cement rock limestone prior to calcination, to extend the life and maximize recovery from cement rock deposits.

  4. Barite – We have both pilot scale and commercial experience processing barite to remove gangue such as silicates, iron and alumina.

  5. Talc - The STET tribo-electrostatic belt separation technology is effective in removal of magnesite, quartz, and dark colored contaminants from finely milled talc.

  6. Iron Ore - Dry processing of iron ore presents an opportunity to eliminate costs and wet tailings generation associated with flotation and wet magnetic separation circuits. STET has evaluated several iron ore tailings and run of mine ore samples at bench scale.
