In 2012-13 • Increasing demand among farmers, rural SMEs, Banks and other institutions • Fairs have potential for increasing financial literacy • Increasing signs that there is potential business for FIs • Nation wide trends • Banks experiencing rapid expansion • Agricultural Finance gaining more attention • Government and other institutions promoting deposit mobilization • Need for further expansion in different regions

What we need to create • Coordination and alignment of goals for better synergy • long term orientation participants and organiser in light of the national trends • And this calls for • Clarity in engagement strategy and partnership • Creating structure to the relationship • Building robust relationship

Questions we seek to Answer • How can we strengthen the partnership? • How can AgriHub better help it’s clients meet their needs? • How to align interests and goals of the Hub and parties involved in the finance fair • How can we build on momentum of the fair to better help you reach your targets

In 2014 The finance fair will be better structure to itself Partners will have more say in the build-up to the fairs • Clearly state the participants interests on the finance fair • Enable partners to plan and budget for the fairs • Identify common areas for collaboration with AgriHub • Solidify the partnership with each other • Sign MOU with each other on those terms

The MoU • States proven importance of the AgriHub Finance Fairs • Opportunity for long term partnership • Engagement will be proactive • Out come will be shared • Will clearly distinguish between different stakeholders • Strategic partners(partners interest to build the sector but not with commercial interest) • Commercial partners(partners who have active commercial interest in developing the financial sector) • Other exhibitors (event and location specific) • Contributions are also made as per the interest

  7. Next Steps • Setting up core teams • Discussing and improving the MoUs • Selecting the venues for the fairs in the coming year • Attracting interested parties for the Fairs in 2014 • Planned to have 4-5 fairs • Start detail planning and budgeting for the year
