  6. IBISWorld Strength • Great source of basic information on industry trends • Past numbers and future growth predictions very helpful • Graphs that can be used to showcase industry arguments • Insight into future problems within the industry

  7. S&P NetAdvantage • Great breakdown of recent events • Both general industries and sub-industries • Applies events to future predictions • Focused on current and future trends that will be sweeping an industry

  8. S&P NetAdvantage • Gives a breakdown by industry of past performance • Rates strength of each broad industry • Economic calendar shows all upcoming economic news • Can be a little ovewhelming and finding the important stuff can be difficult • Very broad macro take on the economy, also

  9. EIU • Economist Intelligence Unit • Has reports on every country, month by month • Future outlook • Politcal scene • Economic policy and performance • Data and charts

  10. Thompson One • Great place to find research reports on individual companies • Can read through these to find analysts takes on overall sector and industry • Also good to look at competitors • Can only be used in IE

  11. Yahoo Finance • Not much information on industries • More useful to find companies within a specific one • Good source of news updates on particular one
