  1. The Story of Phoebe Prince. Why we must prevent cyber bullying.

  2. Phoebe Prince a pretty, freshman “new girl” in Massachusetts was one of the many victims of cyber bullying.. In fact, 50% of adolescents have experienced a form of cyber bullying.

  3. She had been cyber bullied by nine high school students who had sent vicious messages to her cell phone, Twitter, Facebook, and Formspring. This supports recent studies that show 53% of adolescents admit to cyber bullying.

  4. One day, Phoebe was so distraught that she decided to end the tormenting, and hung herself after school. In many cases, cyber bully victims get low self esteem, and even want to commit suicide.

  5. Even after Phoebe’s suicide, people still wrote demeaning, hateful comments on her Facebook memorial page. Sadly, cyber bullying happens because kids want power, revenge or acceptance, and use electronics to get it.

  6. Learn from Phoebe’s story.. If you see cyber bullying, report it.
