Convert Desk into Standing Desk

There are several ways to go about a Standing Desk Converter DIY project. We will discuss one of my favorite ones in this article. It is easy on the pocket and very simple to execute. We will call it “The (Optional) Standing Desk”. As the name suggests, this Standing Desk Converter DIY is for those who aren’t ready to fully commit to standing and ditching the chair altogether.

https://standingdeskconverter.com/collections/standing-desk-collection
1. Building the Perfect Standing Desk With everyone praising the countless benefits of standing versus sitting at work, it is only a matter of time before everyone will want to try out the standing desk for themselves to see what all the hype is about. Whether you want to create a sample one to try or a permanent one, a Standing Desk Converter DIY project is possible with a bit of effort, some materials and a little patience. Before diving into the process of building the standing desk, you need to familiarize yourself with the ergonomics diagram to figure out the exact heights of where the desk and the keyboard should be. To give you a quick idea, the top of the monitor should be at or just below eye-level, your upper arms should be close to your body, your hands should be at or just below elbow level, and the keyboard and mouse should be on the same surface. Finally, the head, neck, torso and legs should all be aligned. There are several ways to go about a Standing Desk Converter DIY project. We will discuss one of my favorite ones in this article. It is easy on the pocket and very simple to execute. We will call it “The (Optional) Standing Desk”. As the name suggests, this Standing Desk Converter DIYis for those who aren’t ready to fully commit to standing and ditching the chair altogether. They are fond of the idea but want to ease their way through the transition. Quite frankly, with this Standing Desk Converter DIY, you can go as fancy or as simple as you wish. I have chosen very simple steps for you so that you can begin your standing experience as soon as possible. Another advantage of this simple DIY project is that you don’t need any experience in carpentry. Standing Desk Converter DIY Steps:

 2. 1-Take precise measurements for the height of the monitor and another one for the height of the keyboard and mouse based on the ergonomics diagram (which is available online). 2-Purchase two lack side tables and get them adjusted at Home Depot based on your measurements and to fit them under one another. 3-Place both tables on your current desk and check for proper posture. Adjust accordingly. If you have an extra monitor, you can place it on that same desk and alternate between sitting and standing for resting periods. You can also purchase a stool to sit when necessary. For any questions or concerns regarding your office needs contact us at (323) 886- 3375.
