Education/Background • Born and raised in Southern California. • BA – Home Economics, San Diego State University • Teaching Credential – Texas Women’s University • Master’s Degree, Secondary Ed, Northern Arizona University • Previous courses taught: • 7th & 8th Language Arts & Social Studies • 8th Grade U.S. History • Career Investigation • PALS • 6th – 12th Family and Consumer Science • Previous teaching experience: • Dallas ISD, San Diego Unified, Chandler Unified, Garland ISD and Plano ISD. • 21 years teaching experience.

  5. Materials Needed • Pencils/Pens: Blue or Black Ink • Classroom donations, per class periods • Tasteful magazines are always needed. • Cooking supplies donations – HSH only • Sewing supplies – HSH only • Section in your binder for this class

  6. Course GradingHuman Services and Hospitality • 50% - Test/Labs/Projects & Notebook • 50% - Classwork/Class participation, warm-ups and agenda book.

  7. ProjectsHuman Services and Hospitality • Who Am I :Information will be given out Sept. 19th, due Oct. 3rd. • Cooking labs: starting end of the 1st nine weeks • Sewing Project: boxer short/PJ bottoms, 2nd nine weeks • Extended Learning Experience: Fall Feast, 2 homemade food items, Nov.
