Group Work. Exercise One. • Write a list of bullet points each. These should detail any experiences or interests that you have, including work experience, study, hobbies etc. • Compare your lists. Do you have anything in common that might form the basis of an idea for a project? • Narrow this down to two or three topic areas.
Group work. Exercise Two. SWOT Analysis. Conduct a SWOT analysis for each topic area you have chosen. strengths Weaknesses Threats. Opportunities
Group work 3. • On the Basis of the last exercise try to formulate a provisional research question. • Phrase this in a number of ways and think about the implications of the wording of the question. • How might the wording of your research question impact on your research design?
