  1. A Deep Insight into JEE Main and Advanced Exam The Joint Entrance Examination or JEE is one of the toughest and most demanding national- level exams in the country. Lakhs of Science students every year appear in this exam to seek admission in top engineering and technology institutes for pursuing bachelor courses in engineering in the prestigious IITs. This highly competitive engineering entrance exam requires strong analyzing and problem-solving skills for which the aspirants need to work their fingers to the bones. Candidates cracking JEE exam get admission to different engineering programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan. JEE is a national-level engineering exam conducted in two phases, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. However, students aiming to crack the national level JEE Main and Advanced exams need to have deep insight into the Main and Advanced exams. Candidates should be well acquainted with the application process, registration process, eligibility criteria, complete syllabus, examination pattern, and marking schemes of both Main and Advanced because this will help them to be well prepared for the exam. JEE Main The first phase of the JEE is the JEE Main and candidates who clear this exam are only eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. JEE Main is every year conducted by National Testing Agency in four sessions and the exam is held in 13 different languages across the country and even at a few centres outside the country. Arch course and comprises Mathematics & Aptitude Test in online mode and Drawing Test in offline mode · Paper 2B is for admission in B. Planning and comprises Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Planning Based Questions in an online mode JEE Main Eligibility Criteria To appear in JEE Main, candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria: · Passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board or university · Students appearing for the 10+2 exam may also apply. · Candidates can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years · Candidates must have studied subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in 10+2. It is a computer-based exam conducted in online mode comprising Paper 1 and Paper 2. This exam is carried out in two shifts that are held on the same day. Candidates have to appear for the exam in both shifts to clear the exam. JEE Advanced is conducted in online mode and comprises questions from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Equal numbers of questions are asked from all three subjects. JEE Advanced is regarded as one of the toughest entrance exams and is extremely challenging and demanding because of the massive syllabus and high standard of questions. Questions are tricky hence only students having adept analyzing and problem- solving skills along with clarity of concepts stand a chance in this exam. JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria · Students securing ranks among the top 2,50,000 AIR in B.Tech or B.E. paper of JEE Main are only eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. · Students should not be more than 25 years of age to appear for the JEE Advanced, though SC, ST, and PwD candidates get a relaxation of 5 years. · Students can appear for JEE Advanced two times in two consecutive years. · Students should have successfully qualified for the 10+2 or equivalent exam to appear in the JEE Advanced. Success Mantra to Qualify JEE To qualify for admission to IITs or top NITs, students need to successfully clear both JEE Main and Advanced. Students are supposed to study with complete dedication and determination effectively to obtain the score that is required to clear Main and Advanced. To be successful in both these exams, students should be aware of the complete Main and Advanced syllabi, so that they thoroughly prepare every topic from the syllabus.
