  2. A few things to know and remember • Because this is a power point prototype it is important that you click the buttons and not just the screen. Failure to do so will take the learner to the next slide and not the desired location. The way to tell that you are clicking a button is by the symbol of the mouse. This is how you mouse symbol will look when it IS NOT a button This is how you mouse symbol will look when it IS over a button. • If by chance you click the mouse when it is not over a button it will automatically take you to the next slide in the power-point to go back simply use your arrow key to go back one slide • Because the root is not real a parent/teacher/instructor will need to be with the learner to act as the robot by helping the student know if an answer is correct and what the robot will say to the learner on each particular slide. Click on the hand to begin (notice when your mouse symbol comes over the picture of the hand it changes to a button symbol)

  4. Smart Phone Screen Pre- Kindergarten Kindergarten LeftSensor Right Sensor Student will: touch one of the sensors or say “Pre-k”/ “Kindergarten” (we will use pre-k for the prototype. Kindergarten will be the same layout except it will use numbers 1-20.) Robot will say: choose Pre-K by touching the left arm (sensor) or Say Pre-K. Choose Kindergarten by touching the right arm (sensor) or say Kindergarten

Choose ‘Addition and Subtraction’ by touching the right arm (sensor)
