Manufacturers looking for a brush deburring machine, there are a few options to consider. Brush mounts come in a variety of configurations. One of the most common is the rotary table station. 1. Brush Deburring Machine - Getting More for Your Money and Better Quality at the Same Time Manufacturers looking for a brush deburring machine, there are a few options to consider. Brush mounts come in a variety of configurations. One of the most common is the rotary table station. In this process, a worker or machine mounts the part that needs deburring on a rotary table. Surrounding this table is a number of brushes used in the deburring process. On the backend, programming controls each brush to perform a specific deburring task on the part. These deburring processes use a variety of brushes and the number usually depends on what type of part is on the table. Most brushes go in a single direction in which requires the manufacturing process to articulate the piece as necessary. Some brushes use a liquid wall, others do it dry. One advantage that disc brush systems have over rotary tables is that the disc goes in many directions. This cuts down on the number of changes needed to articulate the piece. This form of brushed deburring machine usually uses a magnetic system to mount the piece that needs deburring. This eliminates the need to have custom mounts for the rotary table. The disc brush configuration allows manufacturers to put multiple programming solutions in place at a single station. In some manufacturing processes, parts from different areas of the plant can go to a single brushing system. This can cut down both on machine costs as well as the need for custom solutions all over the place.

  2. A brush deburring machines brings another advantage to the manufacturing process. Some parts go through a vibration system that runs pieces through abrasive materials. This cleans all areas of the piece. Some manufacturing processes, however, only needs deburring on specific areas. This reduces the amount of waste produced during the deburring process. It also cuts down on problems with pieces being over abraded in a vibration system. It gives manufacturing designers more control over the deburring process itself. Putting a brush deburring machine in place also enhances productivity and reduces costs. When compared to human labor, machines can handle many more parts per hour. It also improves the consistency of the pieces coming out of the process. Economic considerations depend on the type of brush used as well as how many parts go through a typical process. However, most deburring processes present a significant economic advantage when compared to human labor for the same number of parts.
