  1. Discogenic Low Back Pain Spinal stenosis, disc herniation, lumbar sprain, and different degenerative spinal disorders are the common causes of back pain. Discogenic low back pain is a degenerative condition that means one or more intervertebral discs are the pain source. Discogenic low back pain is usually a chronic disorder. Symptoms of Discogenic Low Back Pain ● With age, our body undergoes several changes, which may also include gradual changes that affect the spine's structures, notably the intervertebral discs. Discogenic pain is associated with activities that increase the pressure within the intervertebral disc (called intradiscal pressure). ● Sitting, sneezing, bending forward, and coughing can increase low back Discogenic pain. ● Leg pain caused by pinching of the nerves in the low back may also accompany low back Discogenic pain, especially while doing physical activity like sitting, standing, or walking.

  2. Non-Surgical Treatment: There are several Discogenic Low Back Pain treatments available, but the most and effective and frequently used ways are explained below: ●Physical Therapy: Physical therapies can be quite much effective. Passive therapies such as ultrasound, transcutaneous nerve stimulation (TENS), and massage combined with a disciplined program of stretching exercises can be the best treatment. ●Bracing: To limit the movement that may provoke painful episodes use braces (orthoses) as they help in supporting the back. Don't use bracing for the long term as it may lead to weakened back and abdominal muscles which may provoke muscle spasms. ●Lifestyle Modification: Dieting, to reach a more 'back friendly' body weight is also helpful. Quit smoking to improve body health and doing physical activity in the proper posture to help maintain a healthy spine. ●Medication: Anti-Inflammatory drugs and anti-depressants are the most effective medicines but must be prescribed by a doctor. ●Spinal Injection: Consult the best orthopedic doctor and after the prescription has local anesthetics combined with long-acting corticosteroid injections. This medication may be injected around the nerves of the back or into facet joints to help reduce back pain and radicular leg pain.
