1. SPFPA™: Dedicated Security Union SPFPA™ is a dedicated security union committed to protecting those who protect and serve. Now 27,000 members strong, the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA™) provides diligent, determined representation and advocacy to security professionals across the country—those who lay their lives and livelihoods on the line to keep our communities, neighborhoods and institutions safe and secure every day. The People We Serve SPFPA™ provides protection and an essential voice to security professionals serving a variety of companies, fields and industries. As the largest and fastest-growing security union in the country, we offer an extensive array of resources to fit the needs of members regardless of where they serve. SPFPA™ Divisions include: Automotive Automotive Plant Security Officers are focused on providing a safe environment for visitors and staff of automotive assembly plants throughout the United States. Currently, we represent more than 1,800 security professionals working in Chrysler/GM facilities in 40 states. SOAR The SOAR (Security Officer Airline Response) Division includes highly trained security professionals that protect aircraft, staff and passengers from malicious actors and threats at airports across the country. DOD/NASA SPFPA™’s Aerospace Division is made up of civilian security officers working at the U.S. Department of Defense and the different branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

2. This includes SPFPA™ members performing security tasks at such facilities as Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, to name a few. DOE/NRC Many of our members provide security services at nearly half the nuclear facilities across the United States. CASH SPFPA™ CASH (Currency and Security Handlers) Officers are often charged with picking up and delivering valuables, though specific responsibilities vary from day to day. We represent thousands of CASH Officers employed by such firms as Garda and Loomis Fargo. DHS Our DHS (Department of Homeland Security) Division includes many security officers who protect critical federal infrastructure, including the Department of Transportation, Department of Agriculture, FEMA, FDA, Social Security Administration, DHS and more. COP The COP (Correctional Officer Professionals) Division includes security professionals overseeing individuals awaiting trial or who have been convicted, sentenced and are preparing to serve time in a jail or penitentiary. COP Officers are employed at both state and federal prisons across the country. CSO SPFPA™’s Court Security Officers, or CSOs, patrol and provide security at courthouses around the country. Many are retired police officers. CAST Our CAST (Commercial Arts/Entertainment Security Team) Division is comprised of thousands of security pros working at theme parks, movie studios, sports complexes and museums across the U.S. Our CAST Officers are employed by such notable names as Paramount, Universal, Disney, 20th Century Fox and more. CHIP The SPFPA™ CHIP (Casino Hotel Industry Police) Division provides representation to casino security professionals working in Detroit, Las Vegas, Pennsylvania and more.
