1. WHAT IS FOUNDATION LEVEL IN CA

2. CA Foundation Course CA Foundation course is the entry level exam to become a CA. Students after appearing in class 12th examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto can register for the foundation course exam.

3. Course Details Students after registration to the course are required to complete a minimum of 4 months study period from the date of registration in order to be eligible to appear in the Foundation Examination, i.e., students registered on or before 30th June/ 31 st December will be eligible to appear in November/ May examination, as the case may be. Students who are Graduates/ Post Graduates with prescribed percentage marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any recognized University (including Open University) or Intermediate level examination passed students of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or The Institute of Company Secretaries of India are exempted from passing Foundation Course.

4. Syllabus Ca foundation is the entrance exam of ca course. It is same as cpt but it is different in some aspects. There will be four papers in ca foundation exam - (1) Accounts -100 marks ( subjective) a little changes has been made in the syllabus of accounts. So don't worry about it. (2) Mercantile law-( 60 marks ) , 2 new chapters will be added i.e. THE LLP ACT 2008 AND THE COMPANY ACT 2013. English- (40 marks) subjective. Only the class 10 to 12 class english basics. Now, (3) qa ( business maths and logical reasoning ) - 60 marks. And statistics-40 marks .(means business maths, logical reasoning and statistics will be of 100 marks ) ***objective type .

5. Syllabus Economics -60 marks (in which macro and indian economic development has been removed) and business -40 marks ** objective type questions. A student can register with boards of studies after appearing in class 12 A student can give the exam after clearing class 12. According to the new rule the exams will be held in may and nov every year. In each paper student have to score 40 % and 50 % in aggregate. Icai will give three parallel attempt , till june 2019. Students who will register till 30 june 2017 will study the old syllabus. But from july 1 new course will be applicable. ● ● ● ● ● ●

6. Journey To The Course 01 02 03 Eligibility After appearing in the 12th examination, you will be eligible to get register for the CA Foundation course. Preparation Once you are registered you have to undergo a study period of four months to appear in the exam. Application Form Applying for the Foundation exams that mean fill the application form through the ICAI portal. 04 05 06 CA Foundation Cut-off Rate Error Correction If any error has occurred in filling the application form regarding the center/medium then one can apply for the correction. The result It is probable that the CA Foundation result will declare within 2 months from the Exams. To clear the foundation exam, you need to get 40% in each subjects or 50% total marks.

7. Latest Update For CA Foundation Registration The ICAI has recently got the government’s approval for amending the regulations 25E, 25F and 28F of Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. That now allows candidates to preliminarily register for CA Foundation course after passing the Class 10th examinations. It is also announced that this preliminary admission will only be modulated or regularized when the candidate will pass the Class 12th exams. The main motive behind this is that the students will get plenty of time to gain knowledge and obtain necessary techniques while pursuing Class 11th and Class 12th, and finally clear their CA Foundation exams with good grades.

8. CA Foundation Registration Procedure You can register for the CA Foundation course through the ICAI portal under the Course registration forms (under the student’s tab). You have to make the requisite payment (check the fee, in the table mentioned below). Once the payment is successful, it will automatically generate the form which is required to get print. The registration is now closed for the CA Foundation Course of December 2021, as the last date is till 16th August.

9. How To Prepare For CA Foundation Exam? ● ● Set a proper schedule. Make a list of important topics according to the syllabus. Have good proficiency in the calculator. Revise chapters 2 or 3 times a day. Test your knowledge by solving more and more mock test papers. Make your time management strategies so that you can manage your time while appearing for the examination. Solve previous years’ question papers that will give you a brief idea about the questions asked during the CA Foundation examination. ● ● ● ● ●

10. CA Foundation Registration Procedure Due to some unavoidable circumstances, if the registration details entered by the candidate do not match with records maintained by the ICAI, for eg, your registration number, then you can be offered to register provisionally. You are expected to check your profile before filing the application form online. In case your photograph and signature are not attached then you are required to attach your photograph and signature. The candidates who wish to change their photograph or signature can do so, in such a case you are required to print the PDF of the form, affix his/her photograph, duly sign the form and get them attested and submit it to the Exam Department.
