  7. 3 Production Oriented Training Scheme ( P.O.T.S.) Under this scheme outside work is under taken based on skill acquired by trainees. • Fabrication • Furniture Making  • Wedding / beauty work • Two and Four wheeler Vehicle repairs • Repairs of house hold equipments & House wiring • Training Programmers as per requirements Revenue Generated in 2007-2008 :Rs.1,25,000/-

  8. 4. Lok Seva Kendra Under this Scheme short term Training of different Trades is given to the Trainees from unorganised sector & for school drop outs & rendered different services to the Society. Duration of Training : 15 days to 2 months Timing : 2 hours daily (After working Hours) No. of Trainees trained in year 2006 - 07 : 37 2007 - 08 : 16 Revenue Generated in year 2006 - 07 : Rs. 17,600/- 2007 - 08 : Rs. 07,100/-

Vocational Training As per Demand Under this scheme free of Cost Training is given to SC / VJNT Trainees along with tool kit on successful completion of training. • Stipend 100/-- per month per Trainee is given. • Free toolkit Worth Rs. 1000/- is Given to Trainees. • Two Days Entrepreneurship Training is organized for • the trainees . Training Trades under MES Scheme :- Automobile sector, Electrical Sector, Electronic Sector Garment Sector, Beauty Sector etc. • No of trainees trained 06 - 07:- SC - 57 VJNT- 20 07 - 08:- SC- 37 VJNT-03

  11. Proposed changes in training programmes : • Upgrade the ITI into a Centre of Excellence in • AUTOMOBLIE trade sector. • Upgrade the following existing trades. : • 1.Mech. Radio & T.V. 01 Unit • ( Conversion in to IT & EMS) • 2. Pump Operator cum Mech. 01 Unit • Add the following new trades. : • List of Trades No. of units • Electrician ( 1 for COE) 02 Units • Welder ( 1 for COE) 02 Units • Delete the following existing trades : • List of Trade No. of units • Processing of Food & Vegetables ( Un Popular Trade) 01 Unit • Mech. Diesel ( Surrender for COE) 01 Unit

  12. Centre of ExcellenceSelection Of Sector • There is wide scope for the Automobile in employment as well as service sector in our region. Also the Automobile sector having boom in market. The automobile manufacturing and service industries are in the need of skilled persons. The Pune – Banglore • Highway is very near to our Institute Hence we are going to take the Opportunity of above scope available. • Pune is house of Automobile Industries and surrounded by cluster of automobile industries, such as TATA MOTORS ltd , BAJAJ AUTO Ltd, Kinetc Engg Ltd, L & T JOHN DEERE, FORCE MOTORS LTD Formerly known as Bajaj tempo, Greaves, Kirloskar, Premier, KBX, Wheels India Ltd. etc. • Centre of Excellence in Automobile sector is selected.

  13. Selection of Basic and Advanced Modules • In the IMC Meeting Discussion Regarding selection of Advanced modules is done & following Advanced Modules were Selected. • Basic Modules : • 1. ABT 1 Basic Fitting & Measurement • 2. ABT 2 Sheet Metal & Welding • 3. ABT 3 Basic Electrical & Electronics • 4. ABT 4 Basic Microprocessor & Computer Operation • 5. ABT 5 Basics of Diesel & Petrol Engine • 6. ABT 6 Basics of Transmission, Suspension, Steering system & Brakes • Advance Modules : • AAT-01 Servicing & Overhauling Of Automobiles (PETROL) • AAT-02 Servicing & Overhauling Of Automobiles (DIESEL) • AAT-03 Denting Painting & Welding of Automobiles
