  2. ¿Cuáles son los signos y los síntomas de la viruela? Los síntomas de la viruela empiezan con una fiebre alta (101-104°F), dolor de cabeza y cuerpo y, en algunos casos, vómitos. Estos síntomas generalmente se manifiestan entre los 7 y 17 días después de la exposiciónal virus. Luego de dos o tres días aparece un sarpullido, principalmente enla cara, los brazos y las piernas,y normalmente se extiende a todas las partes del cuerpo dentro de 24 horas.

  3. ¿Cuáles son los signos y los síntomas de la viruela? Al aparecer el sarpullido usualmente la fiebre de crece y se puede sentir una sensación de bienestar. El sarpullido se manifiesta inicialmente con una serie de hinchazones rojas y planas que se desarrollan todas al mismo tiempo. Estas hinchazones se convierten en ampollas llenas de pus al principio de la segunda semana. Luego se desarrollan unas costras que se caen después de aproximadamente tres semanas, dejando cicatrices ahuecadas
