  2. Hemp fabric is a type of textile made using fibres from the stalks of the Cannabis Sativa plant. It has been recognized as a source of tensile and textile fibres. How is Hemp Fibre Obtained? The stalks of the hemp plant has two layers. The outer layer is formed from the rope-like bast fibres, and the inner layer consists of a woody inner. It is this outer layer that is used for creating textile fibres. The outer layer of the bast fibres is stripped from the hemp plant. It is processed and made into rope or yarn. Hemp rope is very strong and is known well for clothing that surpasses cotton and synthetic textiles by most metrics.

  3. Once it is processed into fabric, it has a similar structure to cotton, but it also feels like canvas. Hemp fabric would not shrink, and it is highly resistant to pilling. As fibres from this plant are long and sturdy, the fabric is very soft. But it is also highly durable. Hemp apparel can last twice or thrice more than cotton as hemp fabric is very strong. Besides, hemp is a lightweight fabric that is highly breathable and also facilitates the passage of moisture.
