Hayden’s first boogie board ride represents Euro index. Could have ended worse than it did but it wasn’t pretty, Vanguard Euro index down about 12%.
S&P 500 ended up about flat for the year
Poppy represents Cabot Oil & Gas
Failed flip is First Solar, started out OK but ended up painful being down 75%
Making a big splash as top performing S&P 500 stock
Intuitive Surgical designs and builds the da Vinci Surgical System which robotically assists in minimally invasive surgery (MIVS). Ironically, I had a similar procedure for my aortic valve replacement…but failed to buy the stock
…and took his earnings to the tailor to buy a suit because cotton was down about 40% for the year!
Commodities did not perform nearly as well in 2011 as they did in 2010 but Hayden bought cattle, which was a top performer up over 20%...
