  1. Increasing Awareness About Contributing Factors To Deafness

  2. When a famous reggae artist and numbers of wailers attest that music is most enjoyable when it is loud enough to warrant a police visit, one almost certainly believes it. Fans of dance music, on the other hand, swear that being close to the music is best, and some prefer to sleep inside speaker boxes. The more one listens to loud music, the higher the price he must pay, both in personal and community costs. Eventually, they will lose the battle to deafness, even as neighbors' complaints serve as warning signs. The well being of the community comes first before one's own deafness for law enforcers. The consequence of such loud music is suffered by both parties, the player and victims within earshot, and hearing loss can last from a few hours to even permanent damage. For the unfortunate, permanent loss awaits, especially as there are no campaigns to teach the public of these risks.

  3. I don't think we have done enough to educate the public about this risk. However, we do mention it on the radio every so often. Finding slots has gotten more difficult over the past year with the economy in such a dire state. With digital technology, higher, undistorted volumes are attainable today, making the threat of mass hearing loss even greater. The rise in nightclub attendance as a recreational activity has also been indicated as a factor contributing to a rise in the number of people developing hearing problems. In Britain, Canada, and the US campaigns have been warning the public about damage from noises 85 decibels and above, but there has been no local counterpart. According to the British based Guardian newspaper, a study, done by the Royal National Institute for the Deaf in Britain, shows two thirds of all 18 to 30 year olds go to clubs regularly and three quarters of them experience ringing in the ears and dullness of hearing after their night of fun.

  4. Less than half know that the ringing in their ears is a warning sign of hearing damage and only two out of five people are aware that this kind of damage cannot be repaired. Within 24 hours, however, most cases resolve, but continuous exposure can result in permanent damage. Consequently, the group has launched a programme called Don't Lose the Music which is designed to educate clubbers and lovers of loud music about the dangers the fun poses to their hearing. Programs of the same sort are being run in the US and Canada. The American Tinnitus Association does both research and campaign implementation on the effects of loud music in the US. The Canadians have their own version of these programs. Local experts deal with numerous cases of young people with hearing loss from loud music. In order to determine the number of hearing loss cases caused by loud music, groups must first study causation https://www.charleyb.net/sonus-complete-supplement-review .
