  1. TaylorITEX CIC Michael Taylor

  2. Who are we anyway? • Established The Learning Lounge in Boston in Aug 2008 • Became a “Community Interest Company” in 2009 • Established The Employment Training and Advice Centrein Sept 2009 • Opened the Black Sluice Hospitality Centre in September 2010 • Adopted Fenside Community Centre in October 2011

  3. What have we been doing and where ? Delivery of contractual provision in Boston, Sleaford, and Spalding: • Next Step IAG • Lincs County Council PCDL Adult Lifelong Learning • Community Employment and a Response to Redundancy Project with Boston College • UK Online

  4. What else have we been doing? As important as our contractual delivery is the way we have encompassed ourselves within the Learning Communities network. This has helped us create working partnerships with local authorities, colleges, schools, businesses Third Sector Organisations, and charities alike.

  5. Over the last 3½ years we have... either worked with, applied for contracts with, supported, or provided free service to the following: And many, many more!

  6. Being part of the Learning Community has allowed us access to many, many organisations. Attending the learning Community meetings gives us the opportunity to promote our services to others, and to identify ways in which we can work alongside others

  7. So what can working in partnership do for you?
