  6. Physical Education (P.E.) • 100 minutes per week • Activities/Exercises/Running • Physical Fitness Test • Healthy Life Style • Eat a healthy breakfast each morning • Wear appropriate shoes and clothing

  7. Visual and Performing Arts/P.E. (VAPA) • 90 minutes every other week on Mondays • 45 minutes of P.E. and 45 minutes of Music with credentialed P.E. and Music teachers.

  11. Academic/Behavior Expectations • “3 R Club” • Making Better Choices • Classroom goals • Stay on Task. • Follow Directions. • Listen to learn. • Respect others. • Complete work on time. • Follow the playground rules.

  12. Academic/Behavior Expectations “3 R Club” Poor Choice Consequences • 1st pink slip- Warning! (missed work results in recess detention). • 2nd Pink slip – Student has recess detention. Pink slip is sent home for the parents to sign and return (student will have recess detention until slip is returned). • 3rd pink slip – The student and teacher will have a conference. Parents will be notified. • 4th pink slip – Referral to the office (behavior will be noted on student’s permanent record). • * Breaking of major school rules results in immediate office referral. • **All pink slips are kept and used for citizenship marks on report cards.

Report Card and Grading • 5 - Exceeding the grade level standards • 4 – Meeting the grade level standards • 3 – Progressing towards grade level standards • 2 – Minimal progress towards grade level standards • 1 – Performance is significantly below grade level standards Grading and Report Card will be discussed at the first Parent-teacher Conference.
