Your Project task: • You are living through some of the most exciting times of the Industrial Revolution • Each key event that happens is something you write home about • So each event takes the form of a ‘postcard’ • You can decide how creative and fancy you want to make the card, but you must include a picture for each event (the ‘postcard’ side of the card AND a message home on the back which describes what has happened
You may include as many events as you like: • Canals • New farming techniques • New railways • Factories producing woollens and cotton cloth • Grim working conditions in the coal mines • Working conditions in the factories • Chartists • New explorations to America
