  2. WHY DO WE HAVE ELECTIVES? • DGE’s have asked • PE’s Evaluations tell us they this was info they needed, at this time • Don’t have time to cover in core PETS training • Deeper dive • ? • ?

  3. EVALUATING THE DEMAND? • # attendees? • Satisfaction-Value? • Part of PETS overall post survey • JIT survey • DGE survey several months into Rotary year (Oct?)

  4. WHO ARE OUR CUSTOMERS? • Brand new Rotarian PE • Knowledgeable PE, wanting deeper dive • All PE’s---want the practical stuff • .

  5. FOUNDATIONAL TOPICS • ROTARY 101 (bylaws, insurance, etc.) • Club Operations (committees, board) • Running effective meetings • Goal Setting • Risk Management (basic legal, accounting and insurance issues)

  6. ADVANCED TOPICS? • Fundraising • Creating People of Action campaigns/images • Telling your story thru video • Motivating volunteers • Leading a team of volunteers • Leading people of all ages

  7. DIFFICULT TOPICS? • Satellite clubs, Passport clubs---help my club or hurt it? • Do I have a problem? Making my club welcoming to people of different religions, gender, color, sexual preference • On being President again, & again—burn out?
