We have learned John’s first witnesses about Jesus is the “Word” and the Word was God. The second witnesses of John is about Jesus is the Light of the World.

John’s sole purpose on earth was to witness and bear testimony to the Light of the world: (1) John was a man sent from God (v.6). (2) John was a man sent on a very special mission (v.7). (3) John was a great man, who witness to the Light (vv.8-9).

Mienh maiv oix longc njang, kungx oix longc hmuangx hnangv, weic zuqc ninh mbuo zoux nyei sic se waaic haic.” (Yo^han 3:19) Jesus said, “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:19)

Jesus said, “But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” (John 3:21)

Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

Today, we have learned that Jesus is the Light. And those who believed in Him are the people of light. And we must act according to the light.
