  1. EVALUATIONS TEAM EVALUATION Each week, each team member mails to the instructor’s e-mail address his/her team evaluation fully completed. Failure to complete the evaluation results in a loss of 10 points to the individual’s project grade. The results of your evaluations are confidential between the instructor and you. It is important to note that the team will receive a grade, and each individual will receive a grade for your deliverables. An individual grade for a particular deliverable may be higher or lower than the team grade depending on the evaluation.

  2. EVALUATIONS TEAM EVALUATION The team evaluation is done in four categories. These include a numerical grade, a rating, a ranking, and an allocation. Remember, EACH team member submits their individual evaluation.

  3. EVALUATIONS TEAM EVALUATION A. GRADE What numerical grade would you assign to your team project? B. RATING C. RANKING D. ALLOCATION

  4. EVALUATIONS TEAM EVALUATION B. RATING Assume you RATING your team members on the basis of merit. The RATINGS are used to determine the pay raises of members. List each team member, including yourself, and RATE each. The RATINGS are 5,4,3,2,1,0. Five = members at the top 10% of the ENTIRE class. Four = members who contributed above average 80% of the time. Three = members who contributed effectively. Two = members who did not always complete work, were absent, or were generally less effective. One = members who contributes less than 50% of the time and did less than 50% of his assigned work. Zero = members who did not contribute to the team.

  5. EVALUATIONS TEAM EVALUATION C. RANKING RANK your team members in the order of their effectiveness. There are no ties allowed. RANK each team member from first (most effective) to last (least effective). Make sure each team member is RANKED.

  6. EVALUATIONS TEAM EVALUATION D. ALLOCATION ALLOCATE 100% among your team members according to their contribution to your project. Keep a cap on your contribution. For Example: If you have a team of 5 members and all the members contributed equally, then each member would receive 20% allocation.

  7. EVALUATIONS TEAM EVALUATION D. ALLOCATION Possible ALLOCATIONS 6 Team members (16.6) 5 Team members (20) Yourself 0 - 16.6% Yourself 0 - 20% Another member 0 - 25.0% Another member 0 - 30% 4 Team members (25) 3 Team members (33.3) Yourself 0 - 25.0% Yourself 0 - 33.3% Another member 0 - 37.0% Another member 0 - 50% Justify the allocation for each member which you've given less or more than the average.
