  1. Welcome to the Lincoln/Hamilton Parent Teacher Organization! We are so happy you joined us this evening!

  2. Thank you for 2017-2018 Success! • Thank you to all Parent volunteers for such great work during 2017-18. • Great success with fundraising. More than ever! • You made a difference: Teacher appreciation lunch, individual student support, field trip contributions, lending library cart. • Fun Day / Field Day was a blast for all involved!https://youtu.be/35D-IvMJjcU

Goals for the 2018-2019 School Year! • Promote communication between students, faculty, and parents. • Enhance our children’s educational experience. • Recruit volunteers to assist with events such as book fair, picture day, and the bake sale. • Create a stronger sense of community within the schools.

  4. Mission Statement The Lincoln/Hamilton Parent Teacher Organization(PTO) mission is to institute and sustain a close relationship between the parents, teachers and students by planning student and family friendly events. The PTO raises funds for educational experiences, advocates school and family interaction, and provides and unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. We believe that a strong parent teacher organization offers a positive educational experience for our children.

  6. Adopting LES/HIS PTO Bylaws Action step for 2018-19 = To adopt official bylaws! • Draft bylaws using the other Harrison PTOs as guide. • Send them out to membership for review. • Revise bylaws using feedback from membership. • Adopt final bylaws at February meeting.

  7. Events For This Year! • Burger King Night: November 20th, 4:00 to 8:00pm • Bake Sale: November 29th (Parent Conferences 6-8pm) • Holiday Party/Winter Photos: December 6th (2nd – 3rd graders) • Family Movie Night/Winter Photos: January and Spring (Hamilton School) • Valentine’s Day Dance: February 12th (Kindergarten and 1st graders) • Scholastic Bookfair: • February 28th & March 1st → Hamilton • March 5th and 6th → Lincoln
