Topic Voting • Each task force member gets four (4) votes • 2 votes for most interesting topic (I) • 2 votes for most valuable topic (V) • Cannot vote for your own Winning 1 • After votes are cast, we’ll select the best topics, one for each group • If warranted, can divide a single topic into two areas

Plan for Rest of Semester • Each group will begin working on their final projects • Over the next five weeks, 5 mini-reports to be written • MR1: Background / Current Environment / Context • This one is due on June 15th (next Tuesday) • MR2: Overview of New Technology and Alternatives • MR3: Business Issues • MR4: Technical Details • MR5: Implementation Issues • Each report should meet requirements (see page 14) • MRs should form the basis for your final report • Pull into single file, tie together each MR • Add ES, Intro, Conclusions and combined TOC & LOF.

Plan for Rest of Semester (cont.) • Two ½ hour status sessions between now and final presentations • Sign up sheets will be posted for scheduling appointments • No Thursday classes until final presentations • Use this time to meet with your group members • I will be in the classroom to answer questions • Classes will continue each Tuesday (except 7/1) • Turn in latest mini-report • Lectures or Guest Speakers

Mini-Report Requirements • Each mini-report should contain: • Title Page (e.g., Storage Technologies: Background) • Table of Contents • List of Acronyms and Abbreviations • List of Figures (if applicable) • Body of report w/ section numbering • References • Write and format professionally • Use APA style for references. Include: • In-text parenthetical citations • Hyperlinks to URLs for internet sites • Approximate body length – 6 to 12 pages • Changes in MR Order or Subject Areas?

Topic Assignment • Which topic is your group interested in? • Things to consider: • Larger groups to incorporate more technical information • Networking info can be incorporated where appropriate • Project tasks determined by group members • Each group should meet very soon to plan project • Switching groups is OK if everyone agrees • We’ll take short break, then come back to assign topics to each group. • Come back with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices
