  7. What language is spoken there There is no ‘main’ language spoken in Europe. It is made up of 50 different countries. Some languages are French, German, Portuguese.

  8. Climate • The climate is of temperate, continental nature, with a maritime climate prevailing on the western coasts.

  9. Land forms Mountains- Alps, Ural and Caucasus. Plains- North European Plain

  10. Culture • Europeans will learn 2 to 4 foreign languages. The government system has “Parliaments”. They use the metric system. Schools and Universities are free in most European countries. The most popular sport is football(soccer).
