SUMMARY • Enrollment management planning requires a broad and deep understanding of current internal and external environment. • Environmental scanning is the process of gathering/analyzing information about demographic, economic, industry/workforce, socio-cultural, education, technology, and fiscal factors that influence the direction and goals of our enrollment (from recruitment to graduation). • The outcome of the ES is the SWOT analysis • From the SWOT analysis, the outcome is the identification of critical or strategic issues.
