  1. Bell Ringer • Jackie’s hair is 7 feet 6 inches long. She wants to donate pieces to charity. She figures kids would like 10 inch pieces of her hair, so she cuts them into 10 inch pieces. How many pieces of hair can Jackie cut? • Hair: 7ft 6 in = 7•12 + 6 = 90 inches • Each Piece: 10 inches • Total Number of Pieces: 90 ÷ 10 = 9 pieces of hair!
