  7. B. Elaborate and Explain Precise Examples Narrator: After facing heavy persecution in New York, the Mormons were forced to emigrate out West to seek refuge. Character: I am going to move to San Francisco, California in hopes striking it rich by mining gold. James K. Polk: By annexing the state of Texas from Mexico, the United States can add more land to the country.
