First “And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.” ~ 2 Cor. 8:5 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. ~ Matt. 6:33 …and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. ~ 2 Cor. 5:15

Convinced – God was involved in their lives! “And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.” ~ 2 Cor. 8:5 8:1 – “grace of God bestowed” 8:5 – “by the will of God.” 8:15 – “He who gathered little had no lack” (Ex. 16:18) 9:7 – “God loves …” 9:8 – “And God is able …” Phil. 4:11-13,19 > “my God…” Gal. 2:20; Heb. 13:5,6 Js. 1:17; 5:16
