  2. Settlements • Some villages have up to several hundreds of people. • Families were usually spread out 1 mile or 2 miles. • The Mohave and Quechan came together to make war on other tribes.

  3. Food • Unlike most Native Americans they were farmers. • They depended on growing the food instead of hunting.

  4. Clothing In the desert people did not need much clothing. Children did not wear any clothes. Men wore clothes made out of weeds.

  5. Trade
