Roadway Maintenance Division • Maintaining approx. 2000 Miles of roads • Road stabilization projects are on hold due to the budget constraints • Asphalt overlaying for approx. 20 miles of road is on hold due to the budget constraints • In the process of Crack Sealing and Chip Sealing of approx. 40 miles of roadway • Approx. 100,000 tons of base material is being produced for repair and maintenance

Road Construction Projects12-Month Outlook • Route 66/Oatman Road reconstruction of 6 historic concrete box culverts (Estimated cost $750 K) • Jagerson Ave. widening and reconstruction at the Mohave Community College (Estimated cost $500 K) • Bank Street box culvert at Suffock Channel and road reconstruction (Estimated cost $500 K) • Knox Dr. and Alamo Rd. Drainage Improvements (Estimated cost $100 K)

  5. County HWY 91 Bridge Replacement • Design is 95% complete • Right-of-way acquisition is in progress • ADOT Highway Extension Loan Program (HELP) loan is approved for construction • Project bidding is anticipated in the summer or fall of 2008 • Project cost is estimated as approx. $6 to $7 Million

Flood Control District Engineering Design Projects12-Month Outlook • Grace Neil Parkway Temporary Channel (in progress) • Horizon 6 - Lake Havasu area drainage improvements • Wikieup Dike and Channel reconstruction (contingent upon cost sharing agreement with ADOT) • Quail Run Subdivision, Mohave Valley drainage improvements

Flood Control District Construction Projects12-Month Outlook • Jagerson and Suffock Channel Construction (Estimated cost $2 M) • Grace Neil Parkway Temporary Channel (Estimated cost $200 K) • Horizon 6-Lake Havasu area drainage improvements (Estimated cost $200 K) • Wikieup Dike and Channel reconstruction (Estimated cost $1.0 M, contingent upon cost sharing agreement with ADOT) • Quail Run Subdivision drainage improvements (Estimated cost $250 K) • Mohave Channel Pathway (Estimated cost $250 K) • Channel Maintenance for the Flood Control District throughout the County (Estimated budget $1.0 M)

  8. County Building Construction • New County Jail Design-build-lease-to-own project; Project cost is approx. $72 Million. The design phase is in progress • New Development Services Facility (Planning & Zoning, Env. Health and Flood Control divisions) Design is in progress; Project cost is approx. $5 Million. Construction bidding is anticipated in the autumn of 2008 • Building Remodeling Construction for the Probation Department Design is in progress; Project cost is approx. $2.6 Million. Construction bidding is anticipated in the autumn of 2008 • Needs assessments are in progress for future building projects

  9. Landfill Division The County is considering the design, permitting and construction of a new municipal solid waste landfill in the Arizona Strip area, near the community of Beaver Dam. An RFQ for engineering is anticipated to come out later this year
