The following scope pictures were all taken with the setup listed below: Gas: ZEUS (89/8/3 CO2/IsoB/Ar) HV: 5.3kV (this is supply reading, HV probe reads 5.215kV) Cell: closest to edge of tube (near gas fitting, see picture below) Cosmic ray coincidence between a Si counters above and below tube, near middle of tube No preamps, scope terminated with 50 ohms for anode and cathode Cathode made out of copper tape 4cm wide running length of tube copper side faces tube (see picture below) Ground plane above cathode and below tube (see picture below) Channel 1= Cathode, Channel 2= Anode Large Cell Scope Pictures g=gas fitting +=HV 0=ground g g + + 0 + + S1 Cathode signal Gnd Large Cell Tube S1 1nF scope HV S2 Anode signal S2
