  3. The MYP Personal Project Is… An independent A gr 10 requirement that starts An exploration of Focused through the lens of A way to get to know yourself! a personal interest. in grade 9. an AOI. research project.

  4. The MYP Personal Project is not… Part of a Something you can About doing something Meant to stress Based on a challenge that you cannot meet. you already know well. class/subject. rush/speed through. you out, it’s interesting!

  5. There are 3 parts of the Personal Project1. The Process Journal- a record or diary of your plan and process-Written, Blog, podcast or other alternative options arrpoved by the school

  6. There are 3 parts of the Personal Project2. The report- 3,500 word essay that explains your journey- must include a works cited section- alternative options available but must follow the same criteria (ie. 15 minute Mutli-media presentation)

  7. There are 3 parts of the Personal Project3. The product or OutcomePRODUCT: A water fountain, a novel, a song OUTCOME:Provide a workshop for kids, learn how to organize an event for charity (more personal, may not be a physical item)
