  1. NRE – Year in Review • Last upgrade – Version 5.2 in August, 2011 • The good – Implementation hadminimal disruption or downtime • The bad – Changes were made that were neither expected or desired • SPOT “bargained” with OCLC to get key features returned • SPOT asked for a test system for future upgrades

  2. The Next Upgrade • Will be 5.3-6.0 except PUA • Failed initial testing - Both SPOT and OCLC found errors • This is good because a quick release would have caused preventable problems • No major new features; mostly bug fixes and wording changes • What is going on with PUA? • PUA Demo revealed many challenges for libraries • More testing is needed
