  2. RFCC Module Update (1/2) • Coupling coil magnets • Weekly RFCC meeting at LBNL • N. Li (LBNL engineer) reported her China trip: QH and SINAP visit • Qi-Huanalready provided winding procedures and waiting for final cryostat drawings • SINAP continues working on the cryostat design drawings and schedule to deliver to LBNL by end of March 2011 • LBNL will take over the responsibility and control of the cryostat design after March 2011 • Purchase of SOLID-EDGE-T (software) to review, modify and translate the drawings from SINAP (up to four weeks: need help from MICE and collaborators for the drawing review); • Any necessary modifications to the SINAP drawings; • Communications with Qi-Huan and HIT; • Design and assembly review (when and where?). • Delivered Single Cavity Vessel Design to Fermilab • Internal review and RFQ • New MICE RF postdoc opening at University of Mississippi posted

RFCC Module Update (2/2) • Cryostat design at SINAP • Expect to finish and send the final drawing to LBNL by end of March • A new engineer joined the effort • Progress at HIT • Sent the welding test raw data to LBNL • Need further documentation and analysis • Propose to host a meeting at QiHuan at end of March 2011 to assess the current status of the CC magnets: • Schedule • Budget and resources • Any technical issues • … • We plan to join the meeting by Skype if possible
