  14. Achievements 2006-2007 • Implementation of Libdata for Subject Guides and Course Pages. HUGE SUCCESS!!! History: Public History Information Sources - James E. Walker Library - MTSU - Murfreesboro, TN • Liberalized laptop loan policy = more use! • Increased circulation privileges for grad students • New cash register and WE TAKE CREDIT CARDS

  15. More Achievements • Implementation of Project START. • Increased classroom instruction for Sciences. • Retention of our classified staff – No hiring this year!!! • Hidden Treasures program for reference training – Suann trains the reference staff. • Revised Searchpath – Give it a try.

  16. Collaborations • Switch to Serials Solutions Central Search and Article Linker (Goodbye Endeavor).James E. Walker Library - MTSU - Murfreesboro, TN • Launch of new website – ON TIME. • Subject guides developed by a cross-library team. Thanks to Suzanne, Rachel and Beverly. • Supported Rachel and Collection Management to analyze periodicals cuts.

  17. Still collaborating • Liaison program: Sharon, Ken, Jiannan, and now Bako, Amy and Jackie. • Birth of the digital projects lab and capture of the MT Memory grant from the MTSU Foundation – Ken, Mayo and Jo. • EIC Student Assistants – Bless you Service Desk staff.

  18. Looking ahead: 2007-2008 • Instant Messaging added to our library help offerings. • Newer and better online tutorials • Offer CourseLib pages to instructors. • Beautiful new Interlibrary Loan pages – DONE. Yeah Pam and thanks to David for systems support.

  19. Looking ahead some more. • Continue to develop the website • Adapt main pages to MTSU Content Management • Propose new pages for transfer students, freshmen, student workers. • Participate in web development committee. • Implement tiered pay plan for student workers (we hope).

  20. Looking ahead some more. • Continue leadership in Volunteer Voices project – looking beyond the current grant.

  21. And Finally……… • HIRE A NEW COORDINATOR (hooray) ?
