  1. Tasks for 09/10/2012 • Complete the second page on sampling in your booklet • Complete the page on controlling extraneous variables and bias in your booklet • Complete the ethics table in your booklet

  2. Task 1 • Complete the table on the following slide to review description and evaluation of 3 types of sampling (see next slide)

  4. Task 2 - Application of sampling techniques • Answer the 4 questions in sufficient detail on the next page of your booklet.

Extraneous variables and bias • Match the title at the bottom of the page to the problem in the table. • Then, use the next slide to find 2 solutions for each problem: the solutions on the next slide are in random order and you must think carefully to match them correctly. • EACH PROBLEM HAS 2 METHODS OF CONTROL
