  2. Gods and goddess were important to Ancient Egyptian religion. Gods were worshipped almost on a daily basis. They were thought to have an animal form and human form.

  3. Some of the six main gods were Osiris, Ra, Thoth, Horus, Isis, and Amun. Ra was the main god. He made the first temple. He made the rules for the temple.

  4. God Thoth was a god that healed people. Ra was one of the people that was healed by god Thoth. God Ra was thought of as a human, a falcon, and a human with a falcon’s head

  5. Ra and Amun were combined for a great period of time. Isis was the wife of Osiris. Ra made Osiris a god. Osiris was like a vice god

  6. There were gods for each kind of element or object. One of these is the sky god, Nut. Another was the earth god, Geb. Osiris was the farming god.

  7. The Egyptian god Ra was know in many forms. One of them is his falcon form, below.

  8. These are some of the Egyptian gods in the order of how important they were and how much power they held.
