  1. CSEPs SPA RejectionsJanuary/February 2008 update

  2. Level of reporting • Rejections are reported at line level • This can inflate the rejection figures: • If a file is resubmitted weekly without the error being corrected, each month could contain up to five rejections for one item • CSP01 rejections could be incurred for one project but multiple shippers, further increasing the reported figures

  3. CSEPs SPA rejections – January 2008

  4. CSEPs SPA rejections – February 2008

  5. CSP01 – CSEP does not exist • Resolution: xoserve manually process rejections to enable resubmitted updates to accept • Current position: increases in January due to 480 brand new projects

  6. CSP01 – project level • Number of projects received each month resulting in CSP01s:

  7. Impact of CSP01 • Estimate of January CSP01 impacts: • 36,375 supply points (of which 36,248 are domestic) • 714 M kWh of AQ (555 M kWh domestic)

  8. CSP01 rejections – Jan08 analysis • Not investigated – ring-fenced with IGTs 352 • Not investigated – awaiting ref info 303 • Still investigating 427 • Investigated 1,063 • Total 2,145

  9. CSP01 rejections – Jan08 analysis • 1,063 investigated • Successful: 515 • Unsuccessful: 548 • Total 1,063

  10. CSP01 rejections – Jan08 analysis • 548 Unsuccessful - reasons • Quoted 42 • Accepted 176 • Cancelled 49 • Nest 7 • Not found 255 • With DN 4 • Other 15 • Total 548

  11. AQ04 – Max CSEP AQ exceeded • Resolution: IGTs examine whether updates/AQs are valid • Current position: low volumes attributed to system issue; validation corrected October hence increase to previous levels

  12. AQ04 – project level

  13. LMP01 – EUC incorrect for LMN • Resolution: IGTs should send updates using the EUC held by xoserve • Current position: large increase May, peak in June, some reduction since

  14. LMP03 – LMN is not live • Resolution: IGTs should not send updates for non live LMNs • Current position: large increase in January

  15. AQ03 – No change to supply point count or AQ • Resolution: IGTs should not send updates that do not change SPA data • Large peak in October (AQ review?), great improvement in November, maintained – not a current issue

  16. LMP06 – A live or pending meter is present • Resolution: IGTs should not submit new domestic sites where an LMN already exists for project/shipper combination • Current position: volumes variable; reduced to normal levels Feb
