  3. Profile • A profile is something that is all about you, what you like, hobbies, interest. • Much like Facebook as for you have a profile on what you like.

  4. VLE • Virtual learning environment • This is like Moodle where you can access your school work.

  5. Micro Blogging • This is where you update your blog by having a certain number of characters • A good example is twitter

  6. VOIP • Is where you can chat to a friend, that could be at the other side of the world. • A good example – Skype and facetime

  7. Social Networking • Social networking is where you tell people your life's story ,by posting status. • You can also chat to friends, post pictures and follow pages that you may like. • A good example is facebook

  8. Instant messaging • Instant messaging is where you send a message straight away to who ever you want to chat too. • A good example is I Massage

  9. Wikis • Add to dictionary, you can add information • Good example Wikipedia

  10. Weblog • Weblogs are online blogs, where you can post what ever you want. • A good example word press

  11. virtual World • These are gaming websites • Good example habbo
